Hinoki (檜), a revered cypress wood native to central Japan, has been used for centuries in sacred baths and temples for its purifying, antimicrobial, and mood-elevating properties. Its natural resistance to humidity, long lifespan, and rich citrus-woody aroma make it a timeless choice for ritual bathing and restoration.

With lustrous white flakes and a clean, grounding scent, Hinoki helps release physical tension and promote mental clarity—whether steeped in a warm bath or used as a natural air freshener.

How to Use
  • Place the hinoki bag in a bowl and pour boiling water over it
  • Let steep for 5–10 minutes like tea
  • Add both the infused water and the hinoki bag to your bath
  • For a stronger aroma, gently squeeze and knead the bag while soaking
Pro Tips
  • After use, remove the flakes and dry them thoroughly on a tray
  • Once dried, use as a natural air freshener
  • Add essential oil or place in an aroma lamp to release scent through gentle heat

Curbside Pickup

Most in-stock items at our brick-and-mortar location will be available for pickup within 4 hours of order placement. Please note that the cut-off time for same-day pickup is 3 p.m. When placing your order after 3 p.m., we cannot guarantee same-day service, and your order will be ready the following day when we reopen.

Please bring your confirmation # or email with a valid piece of ID to collect your purchase. [ ah-bohd ] Home Store will include further instructions for managing your pickup in the confirmation email.

Once you receive notification that your item(s) are ready, please collect your order within 7 business days. After this time, a weekly storage fee may apply.
